On March 22, 2026, the International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) joined Francophonie Day 2026 with the theme “For a Green Future”. This significant event aimed to honor cultural diversity, foster a resilient sportsmanship spirit, and open valuable career orientation opportunities for the younger generation in the era of sustainable development.

The explosive highlight of the festival was the Francophonie Run 2026, which kicked off early in the morning with thousands of participants. The atmosphere at Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street and Thong Nhat Park reached its peak as athletes pushed their limits in the thrilling 10km and 5km distances. In addition to the courageous strides of the long-distance “warriors,” the 2.5km distance also offered vibrant moments of connection for families and groups of young friends, together spreading the message of green and healthy living.

Alongside the vibrant physical and artistic activities, the International School (VNU-IS) exhibition booth at the Francophonie Career and Job Fair became a popular destination, attracting a large number of visitors. The school’s counseling staff directly welcomed guests, provided detailed answers to questions, and offered in-depth information about admission methods and training pathways for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

At the event, students and parents from the capital not only discovered high-quality international training programs from 14 AUF member universities but also had the opportunity to directly interact with partner businesses. This provided learners with a scientific basis to assess their own abilities, explore internship opportunities, and career development pathways within the global Francophone community network.

The event concluded with strong impressions of youthful enthusiasm and environmental responsibility. Through this activity, the International School continues to affirm its commitment to building a multicultural learning environment, while also supporting students in comprehensive physical and professional skill development to be ready for international integration.
