From April 13 to 17, 2025, the VNU – International School convened Faculty-level Evaluation Panels to review student research projects for the 2025–2026 academic year. Outstanding projects were selected to advance to the 18th Student Scientific Research Conference.

On November 4, 2025, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the results of the QS Asia University Rankings 2026 (QS AUR 2026). Accordingly, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) continued to improve its standing: ranked 158th and placed among the top 10.3% of higher education institutions in Asia.
