PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The International School is an affiliated unit of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-HN), with the mission of acting as the focal point for international partnership in training and scientific research between VNU-HN and high-quality universities in the country and around the world. With the slogan “Study and create with the world,”  International School continuously promotes and diversifies development and cooperation activities. The Office of Research and Partnership Development is a functional unit tasked with monitoring, consulting, and advising the School Board of Directors in planning development and partnership strategies and expanding partnership with national and international universities, research institutes, organizations, and businesses to develop International School into  International University.

Since its establishment, the International School has established partnerships in training, scientific research, cultural exchange, and student exchange with over 30 universities and research institutes worldwide. It has welcomed hundreds of delegations, experts, professors, and lecturers from partner universities as well as foreign students who come to study and practice at the University.  International School not only expands educational partnerships but also focuses on collaborating with reputable businesses to foster university-industry linkages. The VNU Scholars Program  at the International School, was established in 2015 to build a network of scholars with international vision and qualifications, serving as a valuable human resource to enhance the quality of training and scientific research ,  at the International School in general and VNU as a whole.

The International School places partnership activities at the core of its mission, which includes:

– Enhancing the level of internationalization of existing training programs and applying international standards to develop new advanced training programs.

– Strengthening partnership with strategic and traditional partners while expanding partnership with universities, research institutes, enterprises, and international organizations.

– Developing joint research activities with foreign countries, facilitating the exchange and transfer of training and research technologies with high-quality and prestigious foreign universities.

– Promoting International School to attract international students and scholars, creating a highly international academic environment for study and work.
