The Master’s program in Banking, Finance and Financial Technology (Master in Fintech) is built in the direction of combining specialized, advanced knowledge and practical skills in the field of banking, finance, and especially financial technology (Fintech), helping students develop the ability to analyze, advise and solve problems related to digital finance, financial technology, investment, risk management and business in a digitalized environment.

The Master in Fintech is designed to train a generation of financial experts for the digital era – those who not only deeply understand banking, finance and financial technology, but also possess an innovative mindset and strong entrepreneurial capacity.
The program aims to:
- Connecting traditional banking, finance and modern financial technology, helping students clearly understand how Fintech is reshaping the banking industry, global finance and investment fields.
- Equipping skills in financial analysis, risk management, digital product development and operating new financial business models – essential capacities in the digital era.
- Fostering strategic thinking and leadership capacity, helping students be ready to take on management positions at digital banks, investment funds, financial technology startups, or start their own business with a comprehensive knowledge foundation.
Combining theoretical teaching and case study research in class; doing assignments, group mini-projects and in-class discussions; combining visits and experiencing Fintech companies and models in Vietnam.

Consists of lecturers with a doctoral degree or higher, who are lecturers of Normandie Management School, France (coming from the UK, France, Germany, Romania) and of Vietnam (from the International School, VNU, invited lecturers from prestigious universities inside and outside Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
Regarding degrees and training expertise:
Degree: having a degree equivalent to a first-year master’s degree according to European standards or a Vietnamese bachelor’s degree (achieving good grade or higher, training system of 4 years or more), a foreign bachelor’s degree not belonging to the European degree system (training system of 4 years or more).
Training expertise: includes 2 groups of subjects
– Subject 1: Graduated from university in the groups of majors: Economics, Business, Finance – Banking – Insurance, Accounting – Auditing, Information Technology and Computers; have basic knowledge of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Basic Auditing, Basic Finance and Software Engineering (with proof) or completed the knowledge supplement program for Subject 1 organized by the International School.
– Subject 2: Graduated from university in majors other than Subject 1; have work experience (minimum 03 years) in fields related to banking, finance, financial technology, information technology and computers; completed the knowledge supplement program for Subject 2 organized by the International School.
Regarding English:
Having an English certificate equivalent to Level 4/6 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework used for Vietnam. Foreign language proficiency is proven through one of the following degrees or certificates:
– University graduation degree majoring in English or a bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral degree (studied full-time abroad) in which the language used in study is English
– • One of the foreign language certificates reaching a level equivalent to Level 4 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework used for Vietnam or other equivalent foreign language certificates recognized by VNU within a period of 2 years from the date of the certificate examination to the date of registration for admission.
