“The university environment has been a transformative gateway, connecting me to the world and nurturing my self-confidence. I firmly believe that by channeling our sincerity, ambitions, and youthful passion, we can create meaningful impressions of Vietnamese students on the international stage.” – Thuy Tien reflected passionately.
Thuy Tien also shared her experience of conquering the “Olympiad of Financial Security 2024” with such an impressive achievement: “For the field of international relations that I chose, it is necessary to have knowledge of organizations against financial terrorism and money laundering, such as AML/CFT, as well as international security agreements, especially those related to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The documents regarding the terms and treaties established by these organizations with countries around the world over the years should be studied more thoroughly before the exam, as this year’s test contains a significant number of related questions. In addition, it is essential to develop case-solving skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to apply relevant knowledge to real-world situations to support the role-playing activities in the program.
Looking back on her journey, the student of Hospitality, Sports, and Tourism Management realized that her years at the International School were truly worthwhile as the institution consistently provided students with opportunities and challenges to prove themselves. At the International School, Thuy Tien had the privilege of interacting and learning from many excellent lecturers, individuals whose accomplishments were truly awe inspiring upon researching them. All the teachers possess high qualified, extensive experience, and are always willing to support students in their academic pursuits, research, and job search.
Four years at the International School have opened up countless opportunities for Thuy Tien. She had once thought that if she hadn’t chosen the International School, she probably wouldn’t have had such wonderful experiences. Thuy Tien expresses deep gratitude to the school for the knowledge, experiences, connections, and promising future it has provided.
