Students arrived at the InterContinental Halong Bay Resort for a professional field trip.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the hotel’s representatives, including Ms. Pham Thi Hien Trang – HR Director and Ms. Nguyen Le Phuong Giang – HR Manager, along with the Human Resources team. During the session, students were introduced to the hotel’s brand development, operational model, and international service standards, providing valuable insights into the hospitality industry.

Through these discussions, students gained a deeper understanding of organizational operations in high-end service environments, including human resource management, staff training, and customer experience design. In addition, sharing on career pathways, recruitment criteria, and essential competencies helped students better prepare for their future careers.

A highlight of the program was the mock interview session, where students engaged in simulated recruitment processes, practiced their communication skills, and received direct feedback from HR professionals. This hands-on experience significantly enhanced their confidence and employability skills.
Students also had the opportunity to explore the resort’s facilities and service environment, allowing them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical observation. These experiences contribute to developing analytical thinking and real-world application skills.
On behalf of the student group, Mr. Luong Do Dinh Thang delivered a thank-you speech and presented a souvenir to the hotel. Ms. Tran Kim Loan, the course lecturer, emphasized the importance of experiential learning and acknowledged the practical value of the program.
The field trip not only enriched students’ academic knowledge but also strengthened their professional skills, industry awareness, and career orientation.
