Assoc. Prof. DSc. Nguyen Tuyet Minh


In 1961, Assoc. Prof. DSc. Nguyen Tuyet Minh completed the bachelor’s program in Literature. She returned to Vietnam, took a job at the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages, VIETNAM NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, HANOI. In 1970, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis majoring in Russian language and literature at Moscow State Pedagogical University. In 1984, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Vietnam. In 2000, Assoc. Doctor of Science Nguyen Tuyet Minh successfully defended his Doctor of Science thesis, majoring in Russian Language and Literature. She is the first Vietnamese female Doctor of Science to successfully defend her Doctor of Science thesis at the Comparative Department of Moscow National University of Education, Russia. Assoc. Prof. DSc.  Nguyen Tuyet Minh was a Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences from 1989 to 2002. And a senior fellow of the Institute of Linguistics, Academy of Sciences. Russia from 1986 to 2002.

Achievements:

Assoc. Prof. DSc.  Nguyen Tuyet Minh is the first Vietnamese scientist honored to be awarded the Pushkin Medal by the President of the Russian Federation – Mr. Putin (the award “On awarding State prizes of the Russian Federation”) in September. November 2017 at the Kremlin.

– Assoc. Prof. DSc.  Nguyen Tuyet Minh has published about 20 scientific products including monographs, textbooks, scientific articles. Among them, the Vietnamese – Russian dictionary with 80,000 words is the most memorable and favorite work of Assoc. Prof. DSc.  Nguyen Tuyet Minh.
