From 1–3 April, Nguyễn Văn Định, Vice Rector of the International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS), together with faculty members, participated in the training workshop titled “Developing digital skills training modules for lecturers and staff in Vietnamese higher education institutions.”

The workshop was held within the framework of the ACCEES project (Accelerating the development of the digital ecosystem in higher education in Vietnam), funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and organised by Can Tho University. This activity represents one of the key initiatives aimed at operationalising the goal of enhancing pedagogical capacity in the context of rapid digital transformation in higher education.

The training programme was designed with a practice-oriented approach, focusing on core components of developing digital skills training modules. Key contents included instructional design, formulation of learning outcomes, competency mapping, selection of assessment methods, organisation of learning activities, and integration of digital tools.

The ACCEES project continues to affirm its orientation towards fostering a digital ecosystem in Vietnamese higher education, placing lecturers and staff at the centre of innovation.

Building on this foundation, participants engaged in in-depth discussions, shared experiences, and directly developed and refined modules that can be implemented within their respective institutions. The standardisation of digital skills contributes to improving teaching quality and establishes a foundation for proactive adaptation to the digital era.
