This year’s event once again affirmed its role as a strategic bridge between the School and the business community, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources that meet the demands of the labor market in the context of digital transformation.

Promoting in-depth collaboration between the School and Enterprises
Speaking at the closing and wrap-up session, Vice Rector Nguyễn Quang Thuận emphasized the School’s strategic orientation of establishing sustainable partnerships with enterprises. Accordingly, the School aims to go beyond short-term job fairs and instead actively engage enterprises in the curriculum development process, encourage them to share practical experience, and accompany students throughout their academic journey.

The core objective is to gradually bridge the gap between theory and practice, enabling students to better prepare for their future careers through thematic seminars, internship and fieldwork programs, and collaborative projects. The School also reaffirmed its openness and willingness to receive feedback from partners in order to continuously enhance training quality.
In the context of international integration, the competitive advantages of VNU-IS—such as its fully English-medium instruction, interdisciplinary programs, and strong internationalization orientation—continue to be highly appreciated by employers. Representatives of the School also expressed sincere appreciation for the continued support of experts and enterprises.

Sharing the same perspective, Vice Rector Đào Tùng highlighted the need to “upgrade” university–enterprise engagement from event-based activities to a continuous interaction ecosystem. The application of technology, digitalization of recruitment data, and sustained connectivity would enable students to engage with employers as early as their second year.


Representatives from various units within the School also proposed several practical solutions to strengthen cooperation with enterprises, including developing internship positions for students and integrating real-world case studies into teaching.
Employers appreciate student quality
From the employer perspective, Ms. Ngô Thị Duy Phương, Director of Training, Talent Development and Culture at Vinpearl, shared insights on the prospects for collaboration. Despite operating in hospitality, the company has a strong demand for talent in IT, finance, and languages.

According to feedback, VNU-IS students demonstrate notable strengths such as proactiveness, dynamism, adaptability, and an active role as a “bridge” between the School and enterprises. Their academic knowledge and professional skills are generally assessed as solid.
“However, several limitations were also candidly noted, including students’ hesitation to ask questions in the workplace and, in some cases, overconfidence. These are considered essential soft skills that need to be further developed.”


Employers also emphasized that students should be better prepared from an early stage. They proposed that VNU-IS continue to expand industry involvement in teaching and experience-sharing.


VNU-IS Job Link Week 2026 has proven to be more than just a career networking event. It stands as a testament to the University’s sustainable development orientation in fostering university–enterprise collaboration. This close partnership is expected to further improve training quality and expand career opportunities in the new era.
