Automation and Informatics: A STEM Program Aligned with the Strategy for Developing High-Quality Tech Talent

National Strategy for High-Tech Human Resource Development

In response to these demands, the International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) has launched its Automation and Informatics program based on a STEM-oriented approach. The program has also been approved to participate in the national project on developing high-quality human resources through 2045.

Academically, AAI is a highly interdisciplinary major that integrates Electronics, Information Technology, and Automation. Students are equipped with knowledge spanning mechanics, electrical and electronic engineering, microprocessors, and automatic control, enabling them to design and operate industrial control systems.

Beyond theoretical instruction, the program places strong emphasis on practical training and real-world experience. Students are encouraged to undertake internships at enterprises, engage with real-life problems, and work in professional environments.

With English-medium instruction, alignment with international standards, and a focus on practical needs, graduates can pursue careers in fields such as smart manufacturing, industrial robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and applied artificial intelligence.
