On April 7, students from the Degree Marketing programme at the VNU-IS (International School, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) took part in a field trip to SEONGON, one of Vietnam’s leading companies in Google Marketing. The visit provided students with direct exposure to a professional working environment while enhancing their understanding of industry requirements in the context of the digital economy.

During the visit, representatives from SEONGON delivered an overview of the company’s establishment and development, from its early start-up phase to its expansion and brand positioning in the market. With a customer-centric approach focused on delivering measurable outcomes—both in revenue growth and brand development—SEONGON has established itself as a pioneer in Google Marketing over more than 13 years, successfully implementing thousands of projects for domestic and international clients.

Beyond business operations, the programme also offered students valuable insights into corporate culture—one of the key factors underpinning SEONGON’s competitiveness and differentiation. Students learned about the company’s dynamic working environment, which promotes continuous learning, creativity, and individual proactivity. Notably, SEONGON places strong emphasis on a structured internal training system, enabling employees to continuously update their knowledge and skills in the fast-evolving field of digital marketing.

These practical insights helped students gain a clearer understanding of employer expectations while shaping the competencies required to meet the demands of the future labour market. In addition, company representatives introduced SEONGON’s recruitment and performance evaluation processes, including candidate selection criteria and methods for measuring work effectiveness.
