Troy University recognized by The Princeton Review for 18th consecutive year

Troy University has been named among the best colleges and universities in the southeastern United States by The Princeton Review for the 18th straight year.

TROY was one of only 143 colleges and universities to receive the designation in the 12-state southeastern region. In all, The Princeton Review recognized 655 colleges and universities in five regions.

“At Troy University, the most important thing we do is serve our students, and we have a dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to equipping and preparing our students to be successful on the global stage,” said Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr., Chancellor. “I believe our student-first philosophy has been the foundation for our consistent recognition by The Princeton Review over the last 18 years.”

A leading tutoring, test preparation and college admissions services company, The Princeton Review has been listing colleges and universities annually in various categories for 31 years.

TROY’s inclusion is the result of a survey that asks students to rate their schools in several areas and report on their experiences. Areas included: academics/administration, campus life, fellow students and their own experiences. Surveys are conducted on campus and via The Princeton Review website, at which students have the option of completing a secure survey online.

TROY has long demonstrated a commitment to offering high-quality academic programs at an affordable price, keeping prices level for students for the last four straight years. That commitment to value led TROY to be recognized as a national model for providing quality, affordable education in a report issued by the Partners for College Affordability and Public Trust, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to making high-quality, affordable college education a reality for all Americans.

Several of the University’s online programs were recognized earlier this year by U.S. News & World Report for quality and affordability, and TROY was recognized by Abound, a college guidance system for degree-seeking adults, as one of the Top 100 Online Colleges nationally.
