VNU-International School and Taiwan’s Yuan Ze University forge partnership for comprehensive cooperation in training and research


Hanoi, July 28, 2025 – A strategic meeting was held today at Vietnam National University -International School (VNU-IS), a member of VNU, Hanoi, welcoming a high-level delegation from the College of Management at Yuan Ze University (YZU), Taiwan. This event marks a new chapter in the collaborative relationship between the two institutions, promising significant development opportunities in the fields of economics, management, and accounting.

The meeting was chaired by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Vice Rector of VNU-IS, with the participation of representatives from the Faculty of Economics and Management and other key departments. Both sides engaged in open and in-depth discussions about their development orientations, training capacities, and research strengths to identify practical and sustainable collaboration opportunities.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh hosted a meeting with representatives from the College of Management, YZU, Taiwan (China).

A central focus of the discussion was the proposal to jointly implement a Master of Business Administration and Accounting program under the framework of the INTENSE program. This initiative, spearheaded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, aims to cultivate international talent in high-tech fields. The program not only offers the chance to study with a full scholarship but also provides internship and employment opportunities at leading companies in Taiwan and the region.

This collaboration is expected to leverage the strengths of both universities. YZU, established in 1989 by the Far Eastern Group, is a leading university in Taiwan with numerous achievements in research and pioneering training programs such as the EMBA. Its College of Management is highly ranked globally, placing 401-500 in the Business and Economics category according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

For VNU-IS and its Faculty of Economics and Management, strengthening international cooperation is a top priority. The goal is to provide Vietnamese students with a modern learning environment and global career prospects. Partnering with a prestigious institution like YZU will contribute to building high-quality training programs that meet the demands of the labor market in an integrated world.

Beyond the master’s program proposal, both parties also explored other potential areas for cooperation, including scholar and student exchanges and the implementation of joint research projects in their shared fields of strength.

The meeting concluded on a positive and trust-filled note. Leaders from both universities expressed their hope that the discussed initiatives will soon be formalized through official cooperation agreements. This would mark a significant step forward in the relationship between VNU-IS and YZU, contributing to the mutual development of both institutions and bringing tangible benefits to learners.
