During the session, both sides focused on discussing strategic orientations and key areas of cooperation for the coming period.
Notably, both institutions expressed interest in jointly developing and delivering academic programmes in Fintech—a field experiencing growing demand amid digital transformation. Plans were also discussed for faculty exchange, shared teaching resources, joint programme development, and collaborative efforts to attract international students.
A broader multilateral cooperation model was also proposed, encompassing international student mobility, recruitment of overseas faculty, and expansion of partnerships with global institutions, including those in India. These initiatives aim to support joint academic programmes and attract more international students to study in Vietnam.
In the long-term vision, Da Nang is anticipated to become a key hub within the International School’s cooperation network—hosting academic exchanges, international student mobility, and joint training programmes.

The meeting opened up a range of practical collaboration opportunities, laying a solid foundation for deeper institutional partnerships and contributing to the advancement of higher education towards internationalisation, autonomy, and sustainable development.
Established under Decision No. 5555/QĐ-BGDĐT, the Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) was founded in alignment with the joint vision of the Governments of Vietnam and the United Kingdom to develop an international university in Da Nang.
VNUK is steadily progressing towards becoming a fully-fledged international university, with a planned 6.7-hectare campus, emerging as a model for higher education innovation in Central Vietnam.
