On March 22, 2026, the International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) participated in Francophonie Day 2026 with the theme “For a Green Future”. This significant event aimed to honor cultural diversity, connect with a resilient sporting spirit, and open valuable career orientation opportunities for the younger generation in the era of sustainable development.

The explosive highlight of the festival was the Francophonie Run 2026, which kicked off early in the morning with thousands of runners participating. The atmosphere at Tran Nhan Tong Walking Street and Thong Nhat Park “reached its peak” as athletes broke through in dramatic 10km and 5km distances. Alongside the courageous strides of the long-distance “warriors”, the 2.5km distance also brought vibrant, bonding moments for families and groups of young friends, together spreading the message of living green and healthy.

In addition to vibrant physical and artistic activities, the exhibition booth of the International School (VNU-IS) at the Francophonie Career and Job Fair became a popular destination, attracting a large number of visitors. The school’s admissions counseling team directly welcomed visitors, provided detailed answers to questions, and offered in-depth information on admission methods and the academic pathways for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

At the event, students and parents from Hanoi not only discovered high-quality international training programs from 14 AUF member universities but also had the opportunity to directly interact with partner businesses. This provided learners with a scientific basis to assess their own capabilities, learn about internship opportunities, and career development paths within the global Francophone community network.

“
The event concluded with profound impressions of youthful enthusiasm and environmental responsibility. Through this activity, the International School continues to affirm its commitment to building a multicultural learning environment, while supporting students’ comprehensive development in both physical fitness and professional skills to be ready for international integration.
