Front Office experience & global career mindset

Students majoring in Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management under the international joint program between the International School – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS) and Troy University (USA) had the opportunity to engage and learn from an international guest speaker within the framework of the Hospitality Management course.

The guest speaker, Louis Hoang – Assistant Front Office Manager at Sofitel Wentworth Sydney, shared practical insights into Front Office operations, the working environment of a five-star international hotel, as well as his professional journey and life in Australia.

Through concrete examples, the speaker helped students better understand the role of the Front Office in managing guest experience, along with the required communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional demeanor aligned with international standards.
