On December 8, a delegation from Keuka College (USA), led by President Dr. Amy Storey, paid a visit to the International School, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-IS).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Định, Vice Rector of the International School, hosted the meeting, with representatives from the Training Department and the Department of Science, Technology and Development Cooperation in attendance.

The delegation from Keuka College, USA, led by President Dr. Amy Storey, paid a visit and held a working session at the International School.
During the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Định noted that the two joint training programs with Keuka College – the Management program and the Dual-Degree Management program- have been effectively implemented. Graduates from these programs have secured positions well aligned with their academic training and achieved initial success in their careers. He emphasized the School’s desire to further expand cooperation with Keuka College in training, research, faculty exchange, and student exchange.

As part of the visit, the Keuka College delegation also met with students from the Dual-Degree Management program, who are scheduled to begin their transfer study period at Keuka College in January 2026. During the meeting, students raised various questions about immigration procedures, living conditions, and their upcoming academic environment in the United States. As this will be their first long-term trip abroad, many expressed concerns and looked forward to receiving detailed guidance and support from Keuka College ’s faculty and staff. Representatives of Keuka College addressed all questions thoroughly and assured the students that they would receive full instructions upon arrival in the U.S. Faculty members also encouraged students to actively integrate into their new learning environment, communicate confidently, and build new friendships to ensure a successful and enriching study-abroad experience.

Keuka College was founded in 1890 and is located on the shore of Keuka Lake in New York state’s Finger Lakes region. Keuka College is a private, undergraduate, and graduate, residential college that offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs on campus and through its Evening and Online Education Program across much of Central and Western New York state, as well as international programs in China and Vietnam.

The faculty addressed students’ questions.
The College’s 290-acre campus hosts more than 1,100 students, approximately 300 employees, and more than 5,000 summer conference guests. It is the largest private employer in Yates County, where its annual regional economic impact is more than $110 million.
Since establishing their partnership in 2009, the International School and Keuka College have jointly implemented two academic programs: the international joint program in Management Science, with degrees awarded by Keuka College , and the dual-degree program in Management Science, jointly awarded by VNU and Keuka College.

In the coming period, the two institutions plan to deepen cooperation in training and research, while expanding beneficial activities for students enrolled in the joint programs.
